So, you may have noticed that #WedFTW has taken a little hiatus. Here’s the deal. It’s not going away; it’s getting better. 🙂 I’ve had a total blast running #WedFTW every week this summer and we gave away some really great tickets. All y’all Houstonians out there are some music lovin’ fiends and I loved hearing concert stories from the winners. So, stay tuned for the next phase of #WedFTW!

Meanwhile, I got a call from Red Bull today and I couldn’t help but share some music-lovin goodness with you. Who wants to win a pair of tickets to this Friday’s Red Bull Panamerika Pachanga Tour featuring Bomba Estero and Los Rakas?

Not familiar? Let me help you out. Pachanga is a Latin-themed music, cultural arts and food festival dedicated to showcasing the vibrant blend of Latino-created music and art and the impact it has on American culture today. Bomba Estereo, who played Lollapalooza last month and were nominated for a Latin Grammy from ‘Best Alternative Album’ in 2013, will take over the stage and showcase their talents described as a mix of ‘electro tropical’ and Colombian cumbia. Los Rakas, the bilingual hip-hop group made up of Panamanian cousins Raka Rich and Raka Dun, consists of a mixture of hip-hop influences with reggaeton, reggae, and dancehall.

Cliffnotes Version: Expect a danceparty of Cumbia, Electro Tropical, and Hip-hop influenced Reggae.
