This Thursday you can catch Stephen “Ragga” Marley, son of legendary Bob Marley, at House of Blues. Stephen is well on his way to making music history as a five-time Grammy winner and both a member of his own band and his brother’s, Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers. And his 2011 album, Revelation Pt. 1 – The Root of Life won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album in 2012. This summer, he’s set to release Revelation Pt. 2 – The Fruit of Life. Read more from the recent Rolling Stones article.

“The concept of the [new] album means merging my music with hip-hop and anything else I feel like,” he tells Rolling Stone. “Every aspect from the songwriting to the production, even the way I sing certain parts of a song, has to return to that concept.”

Revelation Part 2: Fruit of Life will arrive this summer and will feature contributions from Rick Ross, Ky-Mani Marley, Busta Rhymes, Wyclef Jean, Shaggy, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Rakim and many others.
