#TuesdayTease: Red Bull Sound Select Houston
Coming up on December 19th, Lee Fields, The Tontons and The Suffers will share the stage for a Red Bull Sound Select Houston edition. Happening at Warehouse Live at no cost but a click of an RSVP, this night promises to be full of soul, energy and Houston vibes.
The Tontons have just released a brand new video directed by Mutemath’s Darren King for a song from The Tontons 2014 album, ‘Make Out King and Other Stories of Love.’ “‘Ruins,'” says Tontons singer Asli Omar, “tells the story of a long term, long distance relationship that I was in that was on the brink, mostly while on tour, and it’s eventual ending. It’s also, notably, the last track on the album.”
The Suffers have had a record year, winning five Houston Press Music Awards including Best Drummer, Songwriter, Vocal, Soul Group and Musician of The Year. They’ve played VooDoo Festival, Kam sang with the Wrestlers at Lollapalooza and they recently shared the stage with famed Houston Rapper Bun B.
In case you didn’t know, Red Bull Sound Select is a pretty big deal. And getting it in Houston would be fantastic. Houston is full of incredible musicians and we hope that this show helps prove that. So, come out and support and get on the bandwagon for Red Bull Sound Select to come to Houston!
