We all know it’s Super Bowl weekend, and if you’re not joining in on the celebrations at home or partying it up at a friend’s place, then you need to find a good spot to eat and watch the game ASAP. Lucky for you we have our picks of top eats for all your Super Bowl needs. This well curated list is from Chefs Coast to Coast Houston featured episodes.

 El Burro and Bull

Houston is not short on good barbecue places- that’s a given.  How about trying Central-Texas barbecue style with a mix of Tex-Mex flavors? This should be the place you try Super Bowl Sunday.  Try the brisket tacos with house made flour tortillas and tamarind barbecue sauce.  A sure crowd pleasing experience for you and your friends!

BB’s Cafe

Crawfish is the perfect meal for Super Bowl Sunday.  It’s messy, delicious, and doesn’t require your full attention.  You can rip into a crawfish and keep your eye on the game at the same time.  BB’s is the place to watch the big game and dive into 5 pounds of crawfish done the “Tex-Orelans way!”  Stop in, split a giant bowl with your friends, and try not to be too distracted by the flavor and succulence when watching the game.

Southern Goods

A menu described as “traditional meets modern Southern cuisine,” you can’t go wrong with Southern Goods.  The Creole Fettuccine Alfredo is a great choice to share with your pals (or eat by yourself let’s admit it).  Or chow on the Beef Belly Burnt Ends that has Smoked 44 Farms Beef Belly and cheese grits which you can enjoy while keeping your eyes on the game.  Plus, with mild temps this weekend, you’ll be able to sit on the patio and enjoy with a group of friends.

The Breakfast Klub

You can start game day as early as you want with The Breakfast Klub’s breakfast menu.  Get a real deal soul-food breakfast (think chicken and waffles, catfish and grits) and have enough energy to go crazy while watching the game.  Our favorites are the Klub’s Benedict or the Biscuits and Gravy with homemade pan sausage gravy.  Depending on how early or how late you plan on being out for game day, The Breakfast Klub has you covered staying open from 10 pm – 3 am this Super Bowl Weekend!

Pi Pizza

Everybody loves pizza, and Pi Pizza certainly delivers.  They have Big Game specials that include restaurants part of the Cherry Pie Hospitality group (get a whole platter of different eats along with your Pi Pizza while you’re at it).  May we suggest getting the Mac n Cheese balls or SWSC Cauliflower Snacks along with an order of the Big Tex pizza that has thick cut smoked bacon and roasted jalapenos.  Or try Showbiz Queso and the Funk and Circumstance – a super cheesy delightful time! Get Pi Pizza delivered as late as 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and during the Super Bowl the restaurant is expanding past their delivery zones on orders $150 and over.  Even if you didn’t plan on having a party, you can now with Pi Pizza as your main star.
