Sergio Mendes iFest Kickoff Party

Kick off iFest with the energy of Brazil! Tomorrow night, you can hear Brazilian Bossa Nova legend, Sergio Mendes at the Hobby Center for as little as $10. Talk about a steal. This Grammy and Latin Grammy award winning artist has been producing, composing, playing keyboard, collaborating with the likes of Justin Timberlake and John Legend, and singing for five decades, and he’s showing no signs of stopping.

Opening up for Sergio is a very special Brazilian Carnival performance by Casa Samba, a New Orleans-based, authentic Bazilian Escola de Samba (samba school). Costumes, dancing, drumming and vocals will raise your body temperature as you are pulled into the undeniable energy and excitement of Brazil.

Follow that with a Grammy Award winning Boss Nova Jazz & African inspired performance from Sergio Mendes and you have the formula for an unforgettable night.
