Tonight, Jens Lekman and Taken by Trees will play Fitzgerald’s. Jens (pronounced Yens) brings a “guitar-based pop with heavy use of samples and strings, with lyrics that are often witty, romantic, and melancholic” (according to his Wikipedia page). Taken by Trees give a little more Indie Folk sound. Both bands come all the way from Sweden, and in fact, this will be their last show on the US leg of their tour before returning to Sweden for the continuation of their tour, throughout Europe and Australia.
