Chicago-based band Sidewalk Chalk is heading out on tour this week to spread the word about their latest and most prolific album to date, An Orchid is Born. Grab a beer and settle in for a nice long chat with Sam Trump and David Ben-Porat, the horn section for the group. David and Sam explained the background story to this album, what they’ve experienced as a band in the past 12 months, what they are bringing with them on stage, and what they bring with them on tour that’s a little strange.
