This week’s Friday Finds is an artist you can find playing Houston’ quarterly art meets music event, Museum of Fine Arts Houston Mixed Media. Quantic is originally from England, but moved to Columbia and what he thought would be a short time turned into quite a few years. A couple Saturday’s ago, while I was hangin’ at the KPFT studio, DJ Sun was there interviewing Quantic. It was a great convo and they talked a lot about his musical influences and journey. Take a listen:

Mixed Media is on August 22nd and you don’t want to miss this one! You’ll be able to experience the museum, so be sure to get there early enough to take a stroll through the MFAH. It’s going to be a flavorfull, colorful, music and art filled night!
