Craft Beer Revolutionaries, Unite!
Last year, I was introduced to the tasty, tasty world of Craft Beer from the Manager General and Lieutenant General of Texas Beer Fest. And they even let me play a hand in the creation of the inaugural Texas Beer Fest held in Humble, Tx. This year they are back at it again; the festival is being held at Discovery Green on April 28th from 1pm-7pm!
Entrance tickets are $27 before and $30 the day of. Once inside the festival, you have the option to buy food & drink tickets which will get you access to 2 oz beer samples from Texas, the US and all over the world. You can also use the food & drink tickets to purchase some delicious treats from the food vendors. I’m really hoping Clem’s Hot Diggity Dogs will be there again; I seriously couldn’t get enough of their delicious hot dogs last year! If you want some extra perks, you can upgrade your entrance ticket to a VIP ticket (add $38 to your entrance ticket)! With a VIP upgrade, you’ll get to sneak into the festival one hour early and receive access to the VIP Lounge, the VIP exclusive restroom area and a commemorative Texas Beer Fest Glass as you exit the Festival (no glass allowed at Discovery Green for safety purposes). Each festival attendee will receive their own plastic TxBF cup to use for their tastings.
And to keep you entertained, there is a stageful of music lined up from the Handsome Ransoms, Fish Fry Bingo, Brant Croucher, and Curtis Grimes. So, if you love craft beer, Texas music, great food and an afternoon outside then put your revolutionary fist in the air and head over to Texas Beer Fest this Saturday at Discovery Green!
