Chefs C2C 7I recently moved from the Houston area to the Chicago area. And, almost immediately I realized simultaneously that the pizza in Chicago is like none-other, and that Tex-Mex is specific to the Gulf Coast. So, I started thinking about it more and talking with friends from both cities about the differences in food. Before I knew it, I had an idea on my hands: start a podcast and interview chefs and restaurant owners from both cities! I wanted to know what it is that makes the food so different, and specifically speak with the local hometown hero restaurants that everyone craves when they leave their home town, or come to a new one and find a new love.
