Lake Tahoe: a tranquil, glassy and vast body of cool blue water surrounded by skiable mountains and cozy cabins. Buzzing during the holidays and well into Spring with snowboarders, skiers, and nature-loving visitors, it is one of California’s most beautiful spots on the map.

Since 2011, from December 29th leading up to New Year’s Eve Lake Tahoe has been taken over by SnowGlobe Festival. Flocking to the famous location are the best EDM DJs, notable artists of the now and a myriad of people. The festival has already gained worldwide attention, while still being a young and vibrant affair with only its 6th year approaching.

Dubbing itself as “a snow covered love letter written with the power of music, and the spirit of adventure,” the promoters promise to outdo 2015 with another stellar line-up and festival experience. The loyal pilgrims of SnowGlobe are on the edge of their seats, waiting to see this year’s line-up. If the festival provides anything remotely similar to last year, there will be no disappointments! Here is a small taste of last year’s line-up just to get you all sticking out your tongues to catch these virtual snowflake offerings with anticipation.

Last year’s artists included Kaskade, Dillon Francis, G-Eazy, Galantis, E-40 and many, many more. The 2016 line-up will be announced later this month but, you can purchase blind pre-sale tickets on September 7th at 11 am PST! Join their e-mail list to get a reminder and other insider news.

The Lauren Ignited team hopes to be there this year but have no official news yet. We will keep you posted with regular updates, and we will share the 2016 line-up as soon as it is available.
